The Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association (TOBA) will host a New Owners Seminar on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Horseshoe Indianapolis in Shelbyville, Indiana, providing prospective and new Thoroughbred owners with an educational introduction to racehorse ownership.
Held in conjunction with Indiana Derby Day, the seminar will run from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., offering participants an opportunity to learn from industry professionals while experiencing one of Indiana's premier racing events. Designed for individuals interested in becoming involved in Thoroughbred ownership, the seminar will cover key topics including the basics of racehorse ownership, selecting and managing horses, understanding the racing industry, and maximizing the ownership experience.
Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with experienced owners and industry experts while gaining valuable insights into the sport. Registration includes a complimentary breakfast during the seminar and a lunch voucher redeemable at Horseshoe Indianapolis following the program.
