Highly Motivated , a graded stakes winner and son of multiple leading North American sire Into Mischief , sired his first winner May 9 when his son Mischief Crown won his racing debut at Hipodromo de Las Americas in Mexico City.

Raced by Cuadra Los Agaves, Mischief Crown won a 4 1/2-furlong maiden race for trainer Samuel De La Rosa Lopez and jockey Alberto Palacios. The final time was :54 2/5.

Larry Mejias bred Mischief Crown in Florida out of the winning Munnings  mare Richiesdreamgirl, whose immediate family includes grade 3 winner Richiegirlgonewild (Wildcat Heir) and stakes winner Super Allison (Super Saver). The colt was sold to Alejandro Contreras for $3,500 during the 2025 Fasig-Tipton October Yearling Sale out of the Paramount Sales consignment.

Highly Motivated is a half brother to grade 1 winners Ways and Means (Practical Joke ) and Surge Capacity (Flintshire). He won or placed in four graded stakes, which included winning the 2022 Monmouth Cup Stakes (G3) and running second in the 2021 Blue Grass Stakes (G2) and Philip H. Iselin Stakes (G3) for Klaravich Stables and trainer Chad Brown. He retired with a 4-3-1 record from 10 starts and earned $667,375.

Airdrie Stud launched Highly Motivated's stud career and stands him for $7,500. He's been represented by seven six-figure sales during the 2-year-olds in training sales held so far this year.
