Despite the tireless efforts of Turfway Park Racing & Gaming's track crew, lingering effects from last week's extreme cold and winter weather have made it impossible to safely conduct racing Jan. 10.
Crews continue to work around the clock to prepare the track for this weekend's schedule, and live racing is expected to resume Saturday at 5:55 p.m. (all times Eastern) The $180,036 Late Pick 5 carryover originally slated for Friday will move to Saturday's late sequence. Sunday's racing program remains unchanged, with first post at 1 p.m.
Looking ahead, Turfway will expand to 10-race programs beginning Wednesday to accommodate the races canceled due to weather.
