The Arqana February Mixed Sale catalog is out and it features 400 lots, including well-bred fillies and black-type broodmares from some of Europe's leading owner/breeder operations.

Taking place Feb. 17-18 from 11 a.m. local time each day, the sale will feature 10 wildcard entries that will be revealed in due course.

The first day will be reserved for the first lots of the breeding stock section, made up of 152 mares and 81 fillies from operations including the Aga Khan Studs, Wertheimer et Frere, and Al Shaqab Racing—as well as 50 yearlings, some of which are from the continuation of the complete dispersal of Al Shahania's Thoroughbreds. Four stallions shares will also be available, offered for sale by sealed bid during the first day.

The second session will offer the second part of the breeding stock section, following on from Monsieur Franck Leblanc's dispersal. A selection of 2- and 3-year-old stores, as well as 14 2-year-olds, will also go under the hammer, with 75 horses in training completing the sale.

Among the 78 fillies out of training are Celebrite, a daughter of Camelot out of listed winner and classic-placed Heuristique and a half sister to stakes scorer Touristic; Palencia Queen, a daughter of Wootton Bassett from the top-class family of Peintre Celebre; plus Hosaka, a daughter of Lord Kanaloa out of 2012 Prix de Diane (G1) third Rjwa. Another notable filly to sell is Suzette Defoye, a winning Sea The Moon half sister to group 1 hero Simca Mille

The 152 mares include Blumenfee, the dam of listed winner and group-placed Sea the Lady offered in foal to Palace Pier; Kitten's Joy mare Imperatrice, the dam of listed winner Woldora, offered in foal to Ace Impact; Prairie Blossom, the dam of black-type performer Inuit, consigned carrying to Charyn; plus the listed-placed Mary Gold, offered in foal to Dark Angel

Horses-in-training entries include black-type performer and two-time winner Chiaraniya, as well as dual scorer The Angel King, who was last seen winning at ParisLongchamp in October.
