Regaled, a 4-year-old filly who finished second by a neck in the Heavenly Cause Stakes April 12, will be offered in the Inglis Digital USA May Sale, set to take place May 23-28. She will be consigned by Paramount Sales.
"We are thrilled to represent longtime horseman Samuel G. Davis with this talented filly. Regaled has a clear and exciting campaign for the summer as well as tremendous potential as a broodmare prospect," said Paddy Campion of Paramount Sales. "With that huge update from Drexel Hill, plus being from the Tapit sire line, she represents an excellent addition to any top operation."
The daughter of Mohaymen came up just a neck short at the wire in the Heavenly Cause. For that effort she earned a career best Beyer figure of 90.
Samuel G. Davis trains Regaled for owner Brittnee Caballero. She is a three-time winner and grade 3-placed in the 2024 Delaware Oaks (G3) where she ran third to next-out Alabama Stakes (G1) winner Power Squeeze. She is being pointed to the listed Allaire du Pont Distaff Stakes May 16 at Pimlico Race Course.
"She's training really good. We're looking to see her run her best race in the du Pont," Davis said. Davis said she has potential starts in the Obeah Stakes and Delaware Handicap (G3) on her radar and is looking at Colonial as well because she is Virginia certified.
Bred in Kentucky by Chris Baccari, Regaled is the first foal and first winner for the winning Daaher mare Ascot Walk. Her second foal, Drexel Hill, has been making headlines in 2025 by capturing the Busher Stakes at Aqueduct en route to an impressive second-place finish in the May 2 Kentucky Oaks (G1). According to trainer Whit Beckman, Drexel Hill will be pointed to the Coaching Club American Oaks Invitational (G1) and/or the Alabama Stakes at Saratoga Race Course this year.
"Regaled is the perfect combination of racing form and a current pedigree," said Kyle Wilson, Inglis Digital USA's senior director of sales and recruitment. "She's running in a stakes Preakness weekend and her half sister just ran second in the Kentucky Oaks. The greatest part about this filly is there is still so much more to offer. 2025 looks like a big year for Regaled and the rest of her family."
Regaled will be trained at Laurel Park until her move to Pimlico for the Allaire du Pont Distaff. She will breeze at Laurel May 9 at 7:30 a.m. ET weather permitting.
