The Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association is hosting its breeding clinic May 30-31 in Lexington.
Attendees will learn about a variety of topics pertaining to the breeding side of the Thoroughbred industry from experts in the field at four Central Kentucky farms and a veterinary clinic.
The clinic will include tours of Airdrie Stud, Shamrock Glen Farm, Resolute Racing, Magdalena Farm, and Hagyard Equine Medical Institute. Topics at the breeding clinic include matings and stallion conformation, mare management, foal care, broodmare evaluation, and yearling prep for sales.
