Pleasant Acres Stallions announced the arrival of Mr Fisk to Florida for the 2025 breeding season at an $8,500 fee.

"We are so excited to bring this talented, multiple graded stakes-winning son of famed Arrogate to Florida for our breeders," said director of stallion services Christine Jones. "With Arrogate completing just three breeding seasons as a stallion, there are only a few select opportunities to breed to one of his sons. Furthering his line at Pleasant Acres Stallions is a win for his legacy, as well as a win for Florida."

Trained by Bob Baffert, Mr Fisk earned his maiden win at Santa Anita Park in his first start at 3 and a few months later placed second in the 2023 Affirmed Stakes going 1 1/16 miles on the dirt at the same track. He won the 2023 Shared Belief Stakes and Native Diver Stakes (G3) at Del Mar.

At 4, Mr Fisk went back to Santa Anita to capture the Californian Stakes (G3) and Hollywood Gold Cup Stakes (G2)—defeating subsequent North American grade 1 winners Subsanador and Mixto in the latter. Diagnosed with a condylar fracture shortly after his Hollywood Gold Cup victory, Mr Fisk was retired with a 5-2-0 record from 11 starts and earnings of $369,700.

Mr Fisk's sire Arrogate only had three crops. He was a four-time grade 1 winner, taking the 2016 Travers Stakes (G1), 2016 Breeders' Cup Classic (G1), 2017 Pegasus World Cup Invitational Stakes (G1), and 2017 Dubai World Cup (G1). Arrogate won or placed in nine of 11 starts and retired as the all-time leader by earnings at $17,422,600.

Bred in Kentucky by Sunny Brook Stables, who campaigned the colt, Mr Fisk is the first foal out of the European stakes-winning Manduro mare Plein Air, who herself is a half sister to stakes winner Close Your Eyes and stakes-placed Freefromcare.

"Mr Fisk is a physically outstanding individual who has graded stakes-winning success at the track. He also brings to Florida a pedigree line on his dam side that has provided stakes-winning speed, soundness, stamina, and durability throughout Europe," said Jones. "We are proud to expand both sides of this impeccable and winning pedigree—filled with black type—to our breeders."

The transaction was brokered by Brendan Heeney and The Stallion Company.

Mr Fisk joins stallions Chess Chief , Curlin's Honor , Doppelganger , Gunnevera , Leinster , Magic On Tap , Neolithic , Simplification , and Verifying  at the 220-acre farm located just northwest of Ocala, Fla.
