Michael Langlois and Gary Barber's King's Plate winner Paramount Prince attempts to continue his reign over the Woodbine synthetic as he breaks from the outside of a nine-horse field in the CA$175,000 Seagram Cup (G2) July 27.
The Ontario-bred son of Society's Chairman, despite all his success last year, added the first graded win to his résumé with an authoritative 3 3/4-length victory in the June 29 Dominion Day Stakes (G3).

Cutting back a half-furlong to 1 1/16 miles Saturday, the Canadian champion 3-year-old male of 2023 will face the three horses that finished directly behind him in the Dominion Day: Stanley House, Wicked Django, and stablemate Palazzi, who two starts back won the Eclipse Stakes (G2).
Money Supply travels north of the border where a victory would give him a stakes win on all three racing surfaces this season.

Half to Shirl's Speight Takes Class Step in Ontario Colleen
One race prior, a large field of 13 3-year-old fillies compete for CA$135,000 in the Ontario Colleen Stakes (G3T) over one mile.
Charles Fipke's Ready for Shirl, a half sister to grade 1 winner Shirl's Speight, makes her stakes debut. The More Than Ready filly debuted impressively at Keeneland April 13 with a 3 1/2-length win and enters off a solid allowance victory over Miss Roberts on the Woodbine turf June 22.
She enters deep waters as the top three finishers from the June 29 Selene Stakes (G3) return: winner Sabatini, runner-up Crevalle d'Oro, and 2023's Canadian champion 2-year-old filly Witwatersrand.
