The 2024 Ocala Breeders' Sales Co. June Sale of 2-Year-Olds in Training and Horses of Racing Age is scheduled for June 12-14 with all three sessions beginning at 10 a.m. ET.
It will be streamed live on the OBS website at obssales.com and also via Bloodhorse.com.
The sale schedule is as follows:
- Hip No. 1-350 will sell Wednesday, June 12.
- Hip No. 351-700 will be sold Thursday, June 13.
- Hip No. 701-1,115 will be offered Friday, June 14.
On June 7, Hip 589, a son of Rogueish consigned by MRM Thoroughbreds, sped three furlongs in :32 4/5, the under tack show's fastest work at the distance. The bay colt is out of Doll Face by Leroidesanimaux, a half sister to stakes-placed Awesome Anywhere.
Eleven horses shared honors for the under tack show's fastest eighth-mile, clocked in :9 4/5.
- Hip 34, consigned by Britton Peak, is a gray or roan filly by Munnings out of Piccadilly Line by Air Force Blue, a daughter of graded stakes-placed winner Sloane Square.
- Hip 144, a gray or roan filly by Frosted consigned by Grade One Investments, is out of Shawklit Cake by Majesticperfection, a half sister to graded stakes winner Shawklit Mint.
- Hip 452, Nogueza, a chestnut filly by Vino Rosso consigned by Golden Noguez, agent, is out of Beach Time by Bernardini, from the family of grade 1 stakes winners Emcee and Constitution .
- Hip 467, Alia's Faith, a dark bay or brown filly by Win Win Win consigned by Santa Fe Thoroughbreds, agent, is out of Biloxi Princess, by Animal Kingdom, from the family of grade 1 stakes winner Honey Ryder.
- Hip 568, a dark bay or brown filly by OBS June graduate Bucchero consigned by Cruzin' Thoroughbreds, agent, is a half sister to stakes-placed OBS graduate Ek Haseena, out of Deed, a winning daughter of Exploit.
- Hip 624, a bay filly by Justify consigned by Hartley/DeRenzo Thoroughbreds, is out of Etching by Paynter, a daughter of grade 1 stakes winner and multiple stakes producer Summerly.
- Hip 657, a chestnut filly by The Big Beast consigned by Iran Faria Corporation, agent, is out of Force of Passion, a Limehouse half sister to multiple graded stakes winner Pontchatrain.
- Hip 906, consigned by Harris Training Center, agent, is a bay colt by Honest Mischief out of Memories of Mom, by Include, from the family of group 1 winner Sha Tha.
- Hip 945, a bay colt by Practical Joke consigned by Top Line Sales, agent, is out of Mo's Song, by Uncle Mo , a half sister to stakes winner She's My Gem and out of the family of grade 1 winner My Conquestadory.
- Hip 993, a bay colt by Tapiture consigned by Navas Equine, is out of Union Queen, by Union Rags, from the family of Kentucky Derby (G1) winner Always Dreaming and grade 1 winners Hot Dixie Chick and Pauline's Pearl.
- Hip 996, consigned by Old South Farm, agent, is a bay filly by Complexity out of Will Ye Go Lassie, by Trappe Shot, a half sister to graded stakes winner Venus Valentine.
Two youngsters turned in the show's fastest quarter mile moves, clocked in :20 2/5.
- Hip 187, dark bay or brown filly by Tiz the Law consigned by Tom McCrocklin, agent, is out of Southern Silence (Dixie Union), making her a half sister to grade 1 stakes-placed stakes winner Esplanande and multiple stakes winner Liberate.
- Hip 509, Brown Sugar, a bay filly by Twirling Candy also consigned by McCrocklin, as agent, is out of Cashmere (Cowboy Cal) and a full sister to Preakness Stakes (G1) winner Rombauer .
