Owner/trainer Paul McEntee saddled the first winner for Taylor Made Stallions' freshman sire Instagrand  at Horseshoe Indianapolis May 9 when Baytown Boo Boo scored by half a length in his third career start.

Larry Best's OXO Equine bred Baytown Boo Boo out of the winning Proud Citizen daughter Profound Legacy, who is a full sister to 2012 Kentucky Oaks (G1) winner Believe You Can. Baytown Boo Boo is the first foal out of Profound Legacy, who also has a yearling by Taylor Made's Rowayton

At Horseshoe Indianapolis, Baytown Boo Boo broke alertly from the rail under Agustin Gomez and contended for the early lead. Pressured throughout by Special Creed, Baytown Boo Boo shook clear at the sixteenth pole and held his fully extended rival at bay. He stopped the timer in :53.19 for the 4 1/2 furlongs over a wet-fast track.

Best raced Instagrand, a son of five-time leading sire Into Mischief , after he acquired him for $1.2 million out of Fasig-Tipton's 2018 The Gulfstream Sale, its former select 2-year-olds in training sale in Florida. Instagrand is out of the winning Lawyer Ron mare Assets of War and from the immediate family of grade 1 winners Irish Smoke and Book Review

Instagrand went on to win the 2018 Best Pal Stakes (G2) at Del Mar and was third in both the 2019 Santa Anita Derby (G1) and Gotham Stakes (G3).

The stallion stands at Taylor Made for $7,500.
