After two successful launch events in Lexington, Light Up Racing will hold an event May 5 in Ocala, Fla., hosted by the Ocala Breeders' Sales Company.
The Light Up Racing presentation will be centered around the importance of proper techniques to talk to your community about horse racing, how to answer difficult questions from those outside the industry, and transforming negative opinions into positive messaging. This presentation will be held 5-7 p.m. on the second floor of the Ocala Bets building off Southwest 60th Avenue. Appetizers and drinks will be provided by OBS.
Vicky Leonard, who is Light Up Racing's thought leader, will give the presentation. She ran her own successful Thoroughbred marketing agency, Kick Collective in Sydney, Australia, and is leading this new venture in the United States. The model aims to empower industry members with the right knowledge, tools, and resources to be educated advocates of the sport. After seeing tremendous success in Australia, it has been brought to the States.
