Reserve Bank Secures Stud Future Via Inglis Bull Ring

Group 1-winning sprinter Reserve Bank (AUS) will continue his career as a stallion after being secured by Botty's Bloodstock though the inaugural Inglis Bull Ring sale, a new private auction platform powered by Inglis Digital. The son of Capitalist (AUS) enjoyed a standout 3-year-old campaign, highlighted by victory in the Manikato Stakes (G1) against older horses, establishing himself as one of Australia's most exciting young sprinters and a genuine stallion prospect. Botty's Bloodstock principal Aaron Bott said the opportunity to secure a horse of Reserve Bank's stature was too good to ignore. "I thought it was a great opportunity to secure a horse of his caliber," Bott said. "Reserve Bank was an outstanding racehorse with genuine top-class speed and was a group 1 winner at 3 in open company, which is a rare accomplishment. "He possesses an impressive physique and is a grandson of influential sires Written Tycoon and Fastnet Rock. "I can't disclose the plans for his immediate future, but we're just thrilled to have secured him and excited for his future at stud. "The Bull Ring concept is fantastic and Nick Melmeth from Inglis Digital was great throughout the process." Inglis Digital business manager Nick Melmeth said the successful sale provided a strong endorsement of the new platform. "Reserve Bank attracted significant interest from both domestic and international parties, with multiple bidders on the horse, which is reassuring as it shows that the process of marketing the horse in this way was very effective," Melmeth said. "Ultimately, our job is to connect quality stock with the right buyers and we're very pleased to have achieved that outcome here."
