$1.5M Buy Whiskey Decision Seeks Repeat in Eatontown
Whiskey Decision, a $1.5 million purchase at last year's Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale by Alpha Delta Stables, seeks a repeat victory in the $150,000 Eatontown Stakes (G3T) June 13 at Monmouth Park. The daughter of Into Mischief, who remained in the Chad Brown stable following her sale, will make her fourth consecutive start in graded stakes company. A last-out fourth in the May 1 Modesty Stakes (G3T) at Churchill Downs, Whiskey Decision was also second two starts ago in the March 7 Hillsborough Stakes (G2T) at Tampa Bay Downs. She was a close fourth in the Jan. 24 Pegasus World Cup Filly and Mare Turf Invitational Stakes (G2T) at Gulfstream Park to begin 2026. Last year at age 4, she captured the 1 1/16-mile Eatontown Stakes on the Monmouth turf by 2 lengths. Grayosh, who Brown trains for Flanagan Racing, will look to win a second consecutive race after scoring a dead-heat allowance optional claiming victory April 24 at Aqueduct Racetrack in her first start at age 5. That victory was her first in eight starts since capturing the 2024 Lake Placid Stakes (G2T) at Saratoga Race Course. Coming off a nine-month layoff for trainer Graham Motion is the South African-bred Gimme a Nother (SAF). She was a multiple group 1 winner in her home country before landing her first United States graded success last out in the John C. Mabee Stakes (G2T) at Del Mar in September.
