'Horse Racing Happy Hour' Podcast Launches New Series

The Horse Racing Happy Hour Podcast, headed by Louie Rabaut, is launching a 12-part podcast series on the 2026 thoroughbred racing season at Horseshoe Indianapolis. The first episode will air Monday, April 6th at 7pm ET. Rabaut is host of BloodHorse Monday. "We've had such a great response to the SoCal Saturdays series we undertook starting in 2025, that this seemed like a logical next show to add. We love heading up to Shelbyville each July for the Derby, and this series will showcase the quality racing at Horseshoe throughout their robust meet," Rabaut said. Handicapper Barry Spears, Rabaut's co-host on the SoCal Saturdays series, will join for Happy Hour Indiana. Joining the Happy Hour platform is Josh Rodriguez, best known for his work with On The Wrong Lead Podcast, which focuses on weekend stakes races and Hong Kong Racing. Based in Chicago, Rodriguez will join Rabaut for the live Indiana Derby draw episode on July 6. The trio will host an episode live at Horseshoe Indianapolis on Derby Day, July 11. The show begins an hour prior to first post, and the public is invited to attend at no cost. All of the shows will stream live on the Horse Racing Happy Hour YouTube page, as well as the On The Wrong Lead YouTube page. Episodes will be available for on-demand viewing after they are posted.
