Out On Bail Makes 2025 Debut in Palisades Stakes
Stakes winner Out On Bail makes his sophomore debut April 6 in the $300,000 Palisades Stakes at Keeneland, going 5 1/2 furlongs on the turf against nine 3-year-olds. The New York-bred is owned by Case Chambers, Paradise Farms, and David Staudacher, and was purchased by Chambers for $110,000 at the 2024 Ocala Breeders' Sales March Sale of 2-Year-Olds in Training. He was most recently seen finishing second to Governor Sam in the Indian Summer Stakes at Keeneland Oct. 6, who went on to finish third in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint (G1T) at Del Mar behind Magnum Force (IRE). Out On Bail broke his maiden at Saratoga Race Course last July, and came back three weeks later to win the Skidmore Stakes. Luis Saez will be aboard the Michael Maker trainee. Another horse returning to stakes company is Warheart, winner of the 2024 Atlantic Beach Stakes at Aqueduct Racetrack. The Rodolphe Brisset-trained gelding finished ninth in the Turfway Prevue Stakes Jan. 4 in his last out. Jose Ortiz has the mount. Wesley Ward enters a pair of stakes-winning fillies—Dreamaway and Long Neck Paula. Dreamaway, a John Oxley homebred, returns after a six-month layoff; she was last seen finishing third in the Speakeasy Stakes at Santa Anita Park Oct. 5. Gerardo Corrales will be in the irons.
