Majesticperfection, a grade 1 winner and sire of 2015 Longines Kentucky Oaks (G1) victress Lovely Maria who was standing at Haras Rapetti in Uruguay, has died from laminitis, according to Turf Diario. The son of Harlan's Holiday was 15.

Bred in Kentucky by Ronald McPeek and Shane Floyd, Majesticperfection was produced from the Wavering Monarch mare Act So Noble. Padua Stables paid $370,000 for him at the 2008 Ocala Breeders' Sales Spring Sale of 2-Year-Olds in Training where he was consigned by Another Episode Farm, agent. Placed in training with Steve Asmussen, the bay won five of his six starts, all at age 4, topped by a victory in the Alfred G. Vanderbilt Handicap (G1) at Saratoga Race Course. One start earlier, he set a six-furlong track record of 1:07.24 in the Iowa Sprint Handicap at Prairie Meadows. Majesticperfection retired with earnings of $310,430 and began his stud career in 2011 at Airdrie Farm.

Haras Rapetti purchased the stallion in 2018 and Majesticperfection stood three seasons in the Southern Hemisphere. His first 2-year-olds since the move are expected to begin racing this year.

Majesticperfection has produced 21 black-type winners from eight crops of racing age and has sired 231 winners from 320 starters. He has also sired Derby City Distaff Presented by Derby City Gaming (G1) heroine Bell's the One, and graded stakes winners Chanteline, Hebbronville, Majestic Dunhill, Mr Dumas, Lady Ninja, and Four Graces
